Model Call

Hi! Thank you for your interest in my current Model Call!

I’ve had a great response so far, so I wanted to send everyone who has applied the full details of the project before I make any selections.

The Model Call will remain open for another couple of days, and I will ultimately be selecting 3 models. At this stage, I’m looking to find out who is still interested after reading through all of the details below and, importantly, which shoot times you are available for.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The purpose of these shoots is to create a combination of still photography, video clips and behind-the-scenes content that I can use to produce social media reels showcasing both the finished images and the photoshoot experience.

I’ll also be using some new equipment during these sessions and testing a new photography/video workflow. Because these are creative test shoots, there may be a little more experimenting than you would experience during one of my regular client sessions.

For that reason, I’m looking for models who are already comfortable and confident in front of the camera and can move, pose and model naturally with only minor direction from me.

MODEL REQUIREMENTS

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older

• Be comfortable modeling in front of the camera with only minor direction

• Be comfortable being photographed and filmed throughout the shoot

• Be willing to sign a model release for the images and video captured during the session

• Arrive with your hair and makeup completely finished and camera-ready

HAIR & MAKEUP

I’m looking for a polished glam/pageant-style look for these shoots.

Hair should be worn down in loose waves with plenty of movement. I’ll be using a fan for some of the photography and video, so it’s important that your hair can move naturally.

Please arrive completely ready to shoot, as hair and makeup will not be provided at the studio.

A list of local Hair & Makeup artists available if required.

WARDROBE

You will need to bring two different looks:

LOOK 1 — RELAXED / CASUAL

Keep this one very simple.

Think jeans with a fitted white tank top, bodysuit or similar simple fitted top. I want this look to feel effortless and casual, with the focus primarily on you rather than the outfit.

LOOK 2 — FASHION GLAM

This is where you can bring your own style and personality.

Think fashion glam/editorial rather than traditional pageant attire. Choose an outfit you feel confident in that gives us opportunities for movement and interesting photographs and video.

No formal gowns please. No sashes or crowns.

Feel free to bring appropriate shoes, jewelry and accessories to complete the look.

THE PHOTOSHOOT

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

⏱️ Approximately 60–90 minutes

Throughout the session, I’ll be switching between still photography and video while also capturing behind-the-scenes content.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

If selected, there is no session fee to participate.

In exchange for your time and participation, you will receive:

• The 60–90 minute photoshoot

• 3 professionally retouched digital images of your choice

• 2 edited social media reels

After the shoot, you will also have the option to purchase additional retouched images if there are more photographs you would like to have.

Purchasing additional images is completely optional and there is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything.

AVAILABLE SHOOT TIMES

I will be photographing 3 models and currently have the following three sessions available:

October 4 — 2:00PM, 3:00PM, 4:00PM, 5:00PM

October 5 — 6:00 PM

October 7 — 5:00PM, 6:00PM, 7:00PM

October 8 – 12:00PM, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM, 4:00PM, 5:00PM, 6:00PM, 7:00PM.

October 11 – 2:00PM, 3:00PM, 4:00PM, 5:00PM.

Please let me know ALL of the dates above that you are available, not just your preferred date.

I’ll review everyone who is still interested along with their availability and then select the three models who I feel are the best fit for what I’m looking to create.
